Is forensic technology helping criminals to become smarter in committing crimes?
Forensic science is about the presentation of scientific information in a court of law or for an inquiry body with legal powers. It brings together many different subject areas: from biology to chemistry, from engineering to physics, from art to photography and from psychology to law.It includes police investigation work and lab work.
A forensic scientist is required to aid an investigation by using factual, unbiased, objective scientific evidence to determine whether a crime has been committed, who was responsible for this crime and whether there is enough evidence to support a prosecution. This evidence is essential to the prosecution to prove guilt, not for the defence to prove innocence.

I wish there was no need for advanced devises in criminal justice. Although it is exciting to watch the progress of technology it is frightening to realize that crime rates keep growing. Personally I would prefer conservative society with lower crime rate rather than advanced one with progressively growing crime rate.
